Copilot Manufacturing Solutions 

Copilot Manufacturing Solutions launched its Manufacturing Copilot, a manufacturing operations and production intelligence platform the company said is designed to help manufacturers transition from paper-based, disconnected production tracking to real-time, data-driven operations. 

The platform unifies shop-floor information within a centralized platform, giving operators, supervisors, engineers and manufacturing leadership greater visibility into production, according to the company.

The platform aims to capture and analyze production data in one environment. Core capabilities, according to Copilot Manufacturing Solutions, include: 

• Real-time production dashboards and plant-floor visibility 
• OEE and manufacturing performance analytics 
• Downtime tracking 
• Planned versus actual production and throughput monitoring  
• Scrap, rework and quality performance tracking

ARGON Measuring Solutions 

Belgium-based metrology company ARGON Measuring Solutions announced its shop-floor measurement solution ecosystem for wind turbine manufacturers as part of its efforts to offer automated, end-to-end inspection technologies. 

The SMS aims to embed automated 3-D laser tracker measurement directly into the manufacturing sequence, reducing inspection times and improving traceability, according to ARGON. 

The SMS is engineered around five core building blocks: 

• It starts from hardware in the form of 3-D continuous measurement technology (such as the Hexagon ATS600 laser tracker).  
• It also starts from 3-D metrology software (such as the Metrologic Metrolog X4). 
• ARGON then adds its proprietary mobility solutions and tooling. 
• Next, the company adds its own software interfaces and scripts that tie everything together. 
• Overall, ARGON provides services and support.

ARGON's offerings enable manufacturers to execute inspections five to 10 times faster while establishing a standardized workflow across the shop floor, according to the company.

Rootstock

In its summer technology release, Rootstock announced two AI agents designed to streamline delivery outcomes, loT traceability, and purchasing operations in addition to other tools to advance the company's AI, security, and financial goals.  

According to the company, Rootstock’s Sales Agent supports two critical workflows: 

• Customer delivery promise: This agent assesses product availability by checking open inventory levels and component requirements.  
• Lot trace and recall: This agent tracks items by lot number. If items from a defective or damaged lot have been shipped, it identifies affected orders and generates a recall or action list for the impacted customers. 

Rootstock’s Purchasing Agent helps execute the following actions: 

• Purchase order expediting: The agent provides purchase order delay analysis and, when a due date slips, determines which sales orders and work orders will be impacted and identifies alternative supply sources—enabling proactive action to minimize downstream delays. 
• Lot trace and recall: The same lot tracking capability applied within the purchasing context.

Both agents are native to Rootstock’s ERP platform and are also available inside certain workplace messaging apps, as well as through MCP servers, the company said.  

The company also announced its enterprise security solution AccessGuard, designed for midmarket manufacturers and distributors. 

The release also advances Rootstock Financials with capabilities for organizations operating in global environments and delivers a customer-driven enhancement from the Rootstock Idea Factory, according to the company.
