Endeavor Business Media, the parent company of Smart Industry, is helming a show April 8-9 for chemical manufacturing professionals that will feature valuable information and insights on IT, IIoT, and digital transformation.
EBM and the organizers of the Kingsport, Tennessee, conference, eChem Expo 2026, this week released a full show program for a two-day event that will feature eight technical tracks, PDH and API accredited education, and industry-driven sessions focused on operational performance, reliability, safety, and emerging technologies for chemical processing and manufacturing.
The conference will take place at the MeadowView Conference Resort & Convention Center and will bring together plant leaders, engineers, operations teams, and industry stakeholders for expert-led sessions and panels designed to address the operational, reliability, and workforce challenges facing modern processing and manufacturing facilities.
The conference program is built around real purchasing needs and operational priorities identified through stakeholder interviews with professionals across the industry, according to show organizers.
The conference program features over 20 hours of accredited education led by industry experts from companies such as Mettler-Toledo, KOCH, Protego, IndexAR Solutions, Hargrove, and Endress+Hauser.
“Amid rapid change and rising performance demands, manufacturing teams need clear, practical guidance top-down and peer-to-peer,” said Damon Bryan Shackelford, the show’s director. “eChem Expo is designed to bring the industry together to share proven insights and technologies that help organizations move forward with confidence."

The conference program is organized into eight focused educational tracks designed to address the operational priorities shaping plant performance, safety, and reliability.
Day 1 tracks (Wednesday, April 8):
- Capital Effectiveness
- Operational Excellence
- Industrial Artificial Intelligence
- Workforce Development
Day 2 tracks (Thursday, April 9):
- EHS and Compliance
- Instrumentation for Process Reliability
- Accelerating Turnarounds
- Novel Equipment Design
Across both days, attendees will have access to expert-led presentations, interactive discussions, and real-world case studies designed to provide practical insights that can be applied immediately within plant environments.
The conference also will deliver two days of continuing educational content, allowing engineering and technical professionals to earn professional development hours while gaining knowledge they can apply within their facilities. And eChem Expo offers multiple opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and industry connection through both on-site networking and curated off-site experiences, according to show organizers.
The event experience actually begins Tuesday, April 7, with pre-conference activities such as a perimeter tour of the Eastman Chemical facility and the ISA Golf Tournament that attendees can add to their passes.
