IFS, Morgan Motor extend partnership in industrial AI

Industrial AI software provider IFS is extending its partnership with Morgan Motor Co. in using its industrial AI platform, combining technological expertise with real-world applications to expand the companies’ automotive and manufacturing abilities.

The five-year partnership extension will prioritize industrial AI applications as Morgan, a car manufacturer based in the United Kingdom, continues to use IFS platforms as it expands production capacities into new markets. 

This next phase will support the industry-leading coachbuilding, lightweight engineering and timeless design for which Morgan is known.

For years, Morgan has used IFS Cloud across finance, procurement, supply chain, production sales and delivery. The new industrial AI capabilities will enhance supply chain resilience, improve procurement, and strengthen business functions amid persistent global labor and supply challenges, according to the companies.

The investment in industrial AI also aligns with Morgan growth ambitions to expand into new markets, increase production capacity, and encourage the co-development of industrial AI applications in the automotive sector.
