Branden Cornish | Security Services Engineer | Integris
Branden Cornish is a Senior Security Analyst III, originally joining 1nteger Security in 2021 and now part of the Integris team following its acquisition earlier this year. As Integris’s most senior CMMC-specialized analyst, Branden is tasked with performing client infrastructure gap assessments, SSP & POA&M creation, and engineering and managing solutions to address OSC’s (Organization Seeking Certification) complex needs.
A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Branden began his career in cybersecurity and compliance as a “first touch” Help Desk resource, ultimately working his way up to becoming his unit’s Security Administrator, primarily responsible for Governance, Risk, and Compliance of aviation maintenance systems and their processes. Today, he is known for his strategic thinking and commitment to building secure, compliant infrastructures for Government Contractors across the country.
Outside of the office, he’s an avid outdoorsman, golfer, and the proud human to Porter, his loyal Dutch Shepherd and unofficial mascot of the former 1nteger Security —now part of the Integris family.
Chris Smarzik | Virtual Chief Information Security Officer | Integris
Christopher Smarzik is a seasoned professional in Information Security and GRC with 10 years of professional experience providing cybersecurity, governance, risk-management, and compliance solutions to clients in a variety of regulated industries including banking, healthcare, and manufacturing. He got his start in the Information Security space when he was hired by a Managed Services Provider to develop and support an all-inclusive information security program that met the compliance needs for small community banks.
He has earned a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University and maintains several industry recognized certifications including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), and Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) from ISC2, among others.
Christopher currently serves as a virtual Chief Information Security Officer at Integris where he partners with client C-Suites to implement robust and holistic security, risk, and compliance programs that align with business objectives and relevant frameworks.
