Gregg and his group are curators of the strategic product vision and roadmap for AVEVA’s Industrial Platform and has been deeply involved with the PI System and AVEVA Data Hub for many years. He and his team work with customers, users, partners, and internal resources to gather requirements and feedback to build the AVEVA Industrial Platform data services that customers use to uncover insights at cloud scale.
Gregg joined OSIsoft (now part of AVEVA) in 1998 and has held many positions throughout his career at AVEVA. Gregg graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara in Chemical Engineering for both his Bachelor's and Master's of Science degrees. He is also a professional photographer and works with a number of non-profit theatre companies around California.

Robert Schoenberger, Editor-in-Chief, Smart IndustryRobert Schoenberger has been writing about manufacturing technology in one form or another since the late 1990s. He began his career in newspapers in South Texas and has worked for The Clarion-Ledger in Jackson, Mississippi; The Courier-Journal in Louisville, Kentucky; and The Plain Dealer in Cleveland, Ohio, where he spent more than six years as the automotive reporter. In 2013, he launched Today’s Motor Vehicles, a magazine focusing on design and manufacturing topics within the automotive and commercial truck worlds. He joined IndustryWeek in late 2021.
